“These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold—though your faith is far more precious than mere gold.”
–1 Peter 1:7

This season has brought both mountain tops and valleys. We’ve been in this place before—(where we didn’t know how God could work it all but He did)—and we trust Him to do it again. Even in the struggle, we’ve found a deeper strength that could only come from Him.
What once felt like crushing and pressing has become the very thing God used to grow us and expand the work. The Dream Center and, later, the Dream Academy are living reminders of what He can bring out of brokenness.
We know so many of you are also going through hard things the enemy would like to use to destroy you—but we want to encourage you that God is doing something through it all. As we write this, we are preaching it to ourselves. No pain in God’s hands is wasted. It is the faith and endurance of our students, families, and children who God has put in our lives that encourages us to overcome.
A life Transformed: Moon

Two years ago, a timid 12-year-old we’ll call Moon came faithfully to our feeding program. She wore the same too-small pajamas each week and rarely spoke. She carried herself as if invisible.
Today, she is unrecognizable. Through sponsorship, Moon is now part of our school and girls’ boarding program. Though still shy, she stands with courage and even speaks before crowds. Her classmates chose her to serve as the school’s first aid nurse because of her gentle, caring spirit.
The change we see on the outside is just a glimpse of the deeper transformation happening inside her. Watching her, and so many other students, step into their God-given identity fills our hearts with hope.
Dream academy at the music festival

This year, our students entered the national music festival for the very first time. Surrounded by hundreds of schools—many with far more resources—they sang and played with such joy that people kept asking: “Who is Dream Academy?”
They advanced all the way to the top levels, even traveling by train to compete against prestigious international schools. Though they didn’t take first place, the true victory was seeing them shine with confidence. For many, it was their first time leaving their village. Their view of the world—and of what God can do through them—has grown so much wider.
Family Update
We’re delighted to share that we welcomed our newest granddaughter, Layla! She has
already filled our family with so much joy.
Tammy: I’ve been in the States helping with the new grandbaby and working through other
family issues. I hope to be able to share stories of victory one day. I’m also missing Wayne,
Haven, and my home terribly—we’re surviving on video chats, pictures, and lots of “wish you
were here” moments. At this point, even my own cooking sounds good (and that’s saying
something!). Hoping to be home soon!
Wayne: In other, not-so-great news, I was very sick with a severe case of cellulitis and spent
10 days in the hospital. By God’s grace, I’m now about 95% recovered. What touched us
most was seeing our students cry out to God for my healing. In their prayers and tears, we felt the love we’ve poured into them over the years flowing right back to us. We captured a small glimpse of that powerful moment in this short video, and we’re sure if
you take time to watch it you will be blessed.
BIG NEWS: WE GOT A VAN!

Thanks to a generous designated donation, we finally have a van! This van has already been a game-changer—helping us get students to field trips, transporting teams, and keeping us (mostly) safe from the wild adventures that are Kenyan roads. No more cramming 12 kids, 3 teachers, and a goat onto a motorbike (kidding... mostly 😅). It’s a huge blessing and has already made life so much easier for everyone.
SUMMER TEAMS

This summer was full of mission teams—some small, and one with 24 people that definitely kept us on our toes 😅.
Some of the sweetest moments were:
A worship celebration with the whole community.
Students spending meaningful time with their sponsors.
A joyful track and field clinic that had everyone smiling.
Every person who came left a mark, and we are so grateful for their love and service.
THANK YOU, FROM OUR HEARTS
To our faithful partners and friends—thank you. You are part of every story we share. Every life transformed, every prayer answered, and every dream restored is fruit that has grown because of your generosity and prayers.
We are just three months away from paying off the school! What a blessing that will be. We are already planning a celebration. When that day comes, we’ll be free to pour into other ministries—musical instruments, sewing, public speaking, farming, business training, and more.
